Summary Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John) is a goody two-shoes from Australia, Danny Zuko (John Travolta) is the head T-Bird from Rydell High School. However, when the two meet up during the summer, they fall in love. But when the summer ends, the two think they'll never see each other again. However, they're both wrong, Sandy and her parents have moved to America and she is now attending Danny's school. When the two discover that they attend the same school, there is a lot of debate over whether they can still be together since it's uncool for Danny to be in love with a "goody goody" like Sandy. However, the two, against all odds, manage to stay together. Then graduation comes and Sandy is about to change in a way no one expected

How can you hate Michelle Pfeiffer's character it's Michelle Pfeiffer.

"You're the one that I want, ouh ouh ouh" who doesn't know this famous song? Eventually it is one of the best songs of the seventies that we can find in the oustanding musical movie : Grease.

Directed by Jim Jacobs, the famous movie was released on 1978 but it is based on a play dating from 1971. The leading actors in this film are John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

The story is about two young people in a High School. It is a love story between a girl coming from a rich background and a boy who is the leader of a school gang.

All the film is rhythmed by lively musics and dances. The subject is entertaining but the end is too predictable there is no real suspense. It isn't a gripping movie but it is rather a girlish movie.

Today Grease is a reference movie. There were a lot of adaptations in musicals and we can still listen some of the famous songs on the radio or in parties.

Even if it is not a sensible movie, we recommend you to see it for your musical culture.

Two questions. Why do I squeal EVERY FRICKIN TIME I see Zach Efron? And Motormouth and Corny need to be a thing.

Sandy changed for a boy, Rizzo would never.

I will follow him, ever since he touched my Heart I knew Amen.

Fell in love with this woman first time I laid eyes on her and I was born in 84 🤷🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♂️😋. You can't stop the beat. 2:11 WoW human dance. A song from a time when life was much simpler. I'm Jewish, and wish they'd sing this song in synagogues.

Shout outs to everyone listening to this track in quarantine

RIP Patrick Swayze nearly 10 years he left us

I was there in the audience. The only pop concert I've ever been to 😊🧡🇳🇱 No regrets. If you still watching in 2019 so you are like me from the last generation. Heard this on the other day…felt like dying when my niece asked if it was maroon 5... Tell me why when I woke up this morning this song started playing in my head? have not seen this movie in forever. The point is to enjoy the time you're born into, you're only young once and each generation has its own ups and downs. Whos watching at home during coronavirus quarantine. I really like how raw this is. It isn't over edited, it has actual feeling in it.

When Grease first came out on the same day as Jaws 2 nearly 40 years ago, it broke records for a big budget musical on opening weekend at the box office yet it landed in 2nd place to the shark sequel. Luckily, Grease went on to become the most profitable film of that year and became the most popular musical film of all time, a record that it broke from Sound of Music which has been broken by Chicago (Oscar winner for best picture) and Disney's live action remake of Beauty and the Beast. A sequel was soon comissioned in 1982, and sadly it didn't do well as it was released on the same day as E.T. That year, Grease would come out on home video for the first time, with some minor changes from the theatrical release. In 1998, the film was reissued in a heavily remixed and digitally restored 35mm print to moderate success. It was also the first time that the movie was on DVD and then Blu-Ray. Thankfully this year, Paramount has gone back to the original 35mm negatives and the 70mm six track 4.2 audio to create the definitve Grease experience, which is now available on Itunes as well as DVD, Bluray, and 4k bluray. As for the movie itself, it's a classic. Based on a musical that ran on broadway and continued to run even when the movie was still in theatres, this movie tells the love story of two high school lovers in 1950s america. Both Olivia Newton John and John Travolta shine as well as Didi Cohn and others. Even though the movie is rated PG it's more aimed at teens than kids.

Sure, there are the classic songs in this movie that I enjoy listening and singing along to, but this song hits different. I've never been in any situation close to Rizzo's, but I vibed hella hard with this song and felt sympathy for her as a character.

One of the mist underrated actors of all time. I love you, Stockard Channing. I love her voice. When I first heard watched Grease, I couldn't stand this song because I wanted to see the movie, not some silly cartoon, but now I can't stop listening to this song. I watched this movie when I was 8 years old. my 16 years old daughter considers it as her all time favorite movie. a true classic. Wow, what a natural beauty!😘. Movie 鋼鐵å‹3.0. Thanx for HQ. This and Beauty School Dropout are my two favorite songs on Grease. Wish my school would do Grease, I'd want to play Frankie Avalon's role: one song and done! Vanessa Hudgens was fantastic as Rizzo in the live rendition they just did tonight. This is by far the best song from the whole movie. It's also incidentally what makes the film better than the stage version.

My childhood memories are full of wonderful songs, because of this great artist, shes lovely in every way! We are lucky to have lived in a time of her music, because music today has no 's my you. The songwriting is brillant! The music is amazing! And the singing is powerful! A. Song! In the late 70s I wanted to be either John Travolta or Luke Skywalker. Toss up.
